The London Regional Partnership (formerly the London SEN Regional Partnership) has developed a number of inter-authority protocols in relation to special educational needs practice and provision and provision for looked after children.

- Good Practice in Statutory Assessment A statement
of good practice in statutory assessment processes (14 LEA signatories)
- Ceasing to maintain a statement
of SEN This statement highlights best practice in ceasing to maintain
a statement of special educational needs. (18 LEA signatories)
- Quality Standards in Sensory Impairment
These standards have been formally endorsed by five London LEAs.
- Looked after children.
(Currently under review) A protocol clarifying responsibilities in respect
of looked after children with statements of special educational needs
who are placed out of borough (24 LEA signatories)
- Provision of Lovaas programme A framework
document developed by a number of LEAs wishing to bring equity and transparency
to the provision of the Lovaas home-based programme of support for young
children with autistic spectrum disorders. (5 LEA signatories)
- Funding for statements where pupils attend school out of borough An agreement between local authorities in the NE London sub-regional group on funding of statemented provision where pupils attend school out of borough
